When you were a kid did you ever wish to have cool glasses that would add details and comments, or even assist you in your everyday life? If its not already, it should be readily available for consumers soon through a few different products. Augmented reality takes shape a few different ways, through "live direct or indirect view of a physical real-world environment whose elements are augmented by virtual computer-generated imagery."
As you can see here, this persons world differs greatly from a normal person. with extra bits of information about the businesses around him, crime repots, nearest gas, and much more. People could operate faster and more efficently than ever before with this new style of technology.
However the long term use effects are unknown, it will be interesting to see how we develop differently than before, due to augmented reality. I want to hear your opinions on Augmented Reality, A good step for future technology or dangerous tool? you tell me
My opinion is that all things are two sided, you have to take the good with the bad. If a deaf person could read text in a speech bubble as it comes out of the persons mouth then that could change his life. But there could be all types of criminal use and other recreational uses that i cant even imagine yet, anyways. thanks for reading!
