Do 'Get Free Bitcoin' Websites Work?: The Truth About Bitcoin Businesses and Websites.

I have heard a lot of buzz this past week of people wondering, "what is bitcoin?" and "are free bitcoin websites scams?"

As an emerging technology Bitcoin is subject to skepticism because people are unfamiliar with bitcoin and know little about it. While bitcoin has been the subject of scandal before, the majority of websites that offer free bitcoin and bitcoin related services are legitimate. Knowing which websites to spend your time visiting is key and where to deposit your bitcoin is key.

The best way to learn about the legitimacy of the website involved in bitcoin is to check social websites such as forums and search for the website or business you are inquiring about. Check what other users have said about a particular website recently.

If the website looks legitimate, test the websites authenticity by using a small amount of bitcoin first, before committing a larger amount of your cash or coin. Getting enough bitcoin to test most services can be easy and free, so don't spend your money at first.

Risk and reward go hand in hand! For example, with trading and gambling there is decent risk with decent reward. If a website promises more than 100% returns in a day or two, think twice and consider the risk involved.

Many free bitcoin websites operate based on ad revenue and lottery/multiplier revenue which allows them to pay claims to all visitors, These are a good way to get free bitcoin without risking anything!

In some cases the business or website's legitimacy may be fairly clear and in others it may be hazy. Refer to the first two steps before committing yourself to an investment, especially a risky one.

You may have heard or seen the word bitcoin somewhere, but not fully understand what bitcoin is or how crypto currency works. The article below will answer all the questions you have, and if it does not ask your question in the comments section below.

What is Bitcoin?
Bitcoin is a form of digital currency, created and held electronically. No one controls it. Bitcoins aren’t printed, like dollars or euros – they’re produced by people, and increasingly businesses, running computers all around the world, using software that solves mathematical problems. It’s the first example of a growing category of money known as crypto currency.

Unlike traditional currency which can be printed endlessly. The bitcoin protocol – the rules that make bitcoin work – say that only 21 million bitcoins can ever be created by miners. However, these coins can be divided into smaller parts, making it viable as a medium for transactions as well as providing deflation resistance.

What are its characteristics?

Bitcoin has several important features that set it apart from government-backed currencies.

1. It is easy to set up

Conventional banks make you jump through hoops simply to open a bank account. Setting up merchant accounts for payment is another Kafkaesque task, beset by bureaucracy. However, you can set up a bitcoin address in seconds, no questions asked, and with no fees payable.

2. It is decentralized

The bitcoin network isn’t controlled by one central authority. Every machine that mines bitcoin and processes transactions makes up a part of the network, and the machines work together. That means that, in theory, one central authority can’t tinker with monetary policy and cause a meltdown – or simply decide to take people’s bitcoins away from them, as the Central European Bank decided to do in Cyprus in early 2013. And if some part of the network goes offline for some reason, the money keeps on flowing.

3. It's anonymous

Well, kind of. Users can hold multiple bitcoin addresses, and they aren’t linked to names, addresses, or other personally identifying information. However…

4. It's completely transparent

…bitcoin stores details of every single transaction that ever happened in the network in a huge version of a general ledger, called the blockchain. The blockchain tells all.
If you have a publicly used bitcoin address, anyone can tell how many bitcoins are stored at that address. They just don’t know that it’s yours.
There are measures that people can take to make their activities more opaque on the bitcoin network, though, such as not using the same bitcoin addresses consistently, and not transferring lots of bitcoin to a single address.

5. Transaction fees are miniscule

Your bank may charge you a $10-$20 fee for international transfers. Bitcoin doesn’t.

6. It’s fast

You can send money anywhere and it will arrive minutes later, as soon as the bitcoin network processes the payment.

7. It’s non-repudiable

When your bitcoins are sent, there’s no getting them back, unless the recipient returns them to you.

So, bitcoin has a lot going for it, in theory. But how does it work, in practice? Read more to find out how bitcoins are mined, what some of the common myths and misconceptions about bitcoin are, and how the network keeps track of everything.
After reading this story, my opinion of Google has been impacted negatively. Their attitudes, views, and actions are fairly reminiscent of Robber Baron times. I can find no motive for this change in service other than greed. What are your opinions about YouTube's change in policy and service?

One of my friends brought a new product to my attention, and at first I was under the impression that this device was a robotic cockroach that the user could control. However, after closer inspection I found that this device allows the user to control a real cockroach, I was blown away. So after reading about how it works, I found that a small computer must be attached to the cockroach, which left me imagining how applying a computer to a live cockroach would actually work…

Anyways, I decided not to buy the product but it has left quite an impression on me, so I'm wondering what do you guys think about this product? Is it mostly cool or mostly cruel? Below I'll add some info from the website and give ya'll the link so you can see for yourself!

Looking before you leap was created almost a bit more than a year ago, and for many months i have since run out of stuff to post. It has been fun, and at first i put in time to write informative articles, but now i feel like anything i would produce would be trash and i just do not have the time any more.

Anyways since this was my Third blog, i still have two more that i plan to remain active on, and by cutting this one loose i am able to focus more on Common Sense(an anarchist diary) and How to turn Social Networks into Cash Money.

I've just recently got back into watching anime and my favorite of all time has got to be air gear. but the one i am about to finish is coming to rank up in second place, its called Soul Eater.

Soul Eater is similar to Air Gear with its mood and the style of anime that it is. However Soul Eater is much darker, and has a lot heavier element of reality and consequences. Soul Eater is a constant battle between good and evil, but even then the good characters can be rather ambiguous at times and it makes for an intense, thrilling, fun, and hopeful show :)

While Air Gear is not as dark it is still just as intense and thrilling. Air Gear has its theme placed much higher in the sky than down in death city. Both shows have enticing women characters whom always pop in and out of your mind in between long fights and grueling battles. Air gear is a little more happy and uplifting.

Anyways, After the long days work its nice to watch either of them. Until Next Time!
Cheers!

So my brother tells me he saw a video of clothing specifically designed to bend light in such a way that would make the wearer not appear to be physically there.
The closest i can find is the technology demonstrated in this video below, has anyone seen a good video of cloaking clothing or something similar?

With that idea alone the possibilities seem endless. How technology advances in such a short time, it seems like only yesterday when invisibility was a thing of dreams and hollywood and soon it could be a reality.
What would you guys do if you could be invisible ;p ? i can think of a lot that i would do already haha
dopdavidhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03573662553825640196noreply@blogger.com6tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5187109472415784266.post-19434726908030913202012-01-21T19:51:00.000-08:002012-01-25T01:32:36.936-08:00got my cash crate check

View This Check On Cash Crate

The cover of this book had 3D Graphics which made it catch my eye, i picked it up and read the title "Pick Me Up" and then below that it said stuff you need to know. So what did i do? Open it to see what it held, and it was a bunch of assorted facts with interesting pictures and stuff like that.

A book who's title told me nothing about it except for that i needed to know what it contained. And it told me to Pick It Up. I figured its a perfect example of a great way to market and get your book out there, its perfect and getting attention and attracting readers. A great marketing strategy that worked, because it ended up at my house

I wish i had thought of that :pdopdavidhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03573662553825640196noreply@blogger.com24tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5187109472415784266.post-72260673915924252532010-11-01T21:07:00.000-07:002010-11-01T21:08:59.050-07:00Tomorrow being nov 2 and all..Hey everyone, thanks for reading. Currently i am spending a lot of time working on stuff and i do not get around to posting every day. so if you have an idea, let me hear it. let me know what you want to see covered.

http://www.usdebtclock.org/ is one of the best websites to put the US national debt into perspective, the sheer numbers and the rate and which they increase is immense. Why was all of this money spent and how did we get so far into this economic hole?

If you are thinking about voting get out and do it! because every vote counts, the more votes we have the more control we have. Even at the city levels everything matters, take power into your own hands and voice your opinion!

Anyways On with the humor:

dopdavidhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03573662553825640196noreply@blogger.com22tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5187109472415784266.post-41271489539997229692010-10-29T12:34:00.000-07:002010-10-29T12:36:22.122-07:00Meat: Without the Animals

As it is currently over 98% of all meat raised in the US is from factory farms with many animals living in waste. The living conditions are terrible thus allowing bacteria to cultivate and since the animals are in such poor condition their immune systems are not working to their full potential. Tens of hundreds of animals are kept in these factory farms all across the nation. All of the animals have to be fed, as well as their waste cleaned up and disposed of. The factories produce waste and the environment is impacted.

The wave of the future; scientists are currently working on cultivating meat in a lab fit for human consumption, thanks to the use of stem cells. A collective of scientists from the Netherlands, the US, Denmark, Sweden, and Norway have a single goal and that is to use a single stem cell to grow muscle tissue. The project is still in its early stages and it could be years before we see anything like this but the possibilities are enormous.

The positives to cultured meat are many. The meat created in labs would be sterile, because the conditions they are created under would be sterile. There would be no way for disease to taint the meat and grow in the animals within the factory farm. The nutrient content of the meat can be customized, so meat with different vitamin / protein content could be produced.

Why cultured meat is good; meat production is hard on the planet. A cow consumes 6 pounds of plant protein to produce 1 pound of meat protein. Livestock also pollutes and harms the atmosphere and as the earth continues to be populated, meat demand will rise and rise and soon we will not be able to keep up.

"Each cell could, in principle, be turned into 220 pounds of meat, so a handful of pig umbilical cords could be sufficient to make enough meat for the whole world. (Stig W. Omholt of Norwegian University of Life Sciences)"
Examine what the measure seeks to accomplish. Would the measure be providing changes that are consistent with your ideas about government? and if so, do you think the proposed changes will make things better? Consider all aspects of government that could be effected by the proposition.

Always! Check who the sponsors and opponents are for each proposition. Find out where the money is coming from, that will help you tremendous amounts to understand who the law will be effecting and what it could mean for you. Check where the funds are coming from on the Secretary of State's website cal-access.sos.ca.gov/Campaign/Measures/

Is the measure written in the best possible way so that there are no loopholes? And so that it is as simple as possible? Will it create conflicts in law that may require court resolution or interpretation? Is it “good government,” or will it cause more problems than it will resolve? Will it be one that we can deal with easily through a Yes / No vote? or will it be a complex issue that our legislative body has to wrangle?

If the proposed idea needs to be funded consider where it will get its funds. What other government mandated programs will lose funding, will you have to pay more taxes? And even if there is money is it well spent and worth it?

An amendment to the constitution is a big thing and because of that all constitutional amendments require voters approval. Ask yourself if the law really needs to be written on the constitution, or could it be solved through judicial branches or another way.

As usual don't be swayed by visual adverts that supply little to no content about what they actually do. Read into the information do not just vote based off of what you have seen from the media or stuck in grassy areas around your house.dopdavidhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03573662553825640196noreply@blogger.com9tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5187109472415784266.post-48621145511407757572010-10-27T14:09:00.000-07:002010-10-27T14:11:44.334-07:00The Business World; a look at employment

Unemployment rates are higher than they have been in a long time. Massive corporations moving out of the US to foreign countries for cheaper labor. Education is becoming available to more and more people and the opportunities for uneducated people are diminishing. The world of business is changing, global economics, holding companies and more and more people join the targeted commercial masses each day. So here are some thoughts on this, accompanied with other information, like best jobs of 2010 and needed skills to keep your cutting edge in our expanding world.

The market is global now, manufacturing in the united states is history and i do not think those jobs will come back until there is incentive to do so. As it currently stands it is WAY cheaper to operate outside of the US and import in, so if a job can be exported, why wouldn't it?

Education is available to a much wider variety of people than it was even just 20 years ago, community colleges, trade schools, specialized institutions offer quick and simple courses that lead to certificates or degrees in almost anything you want. The path to fiscal freedom is no longer a 2 lane highway, its a paved speedway and if you dont keep up to speed your going to get stuck in the traffic jam.

As for best jobs in 2010, i did some research and found articles online. In general, anything professional will secure you. Find something that people will always need, and you will find yourself secure.

Cell Phones: Info Before Buying

There are lots of different types of cell phones these days, from flat touch screens to flip to qwerty slide keyboards. With so many new additions there is so much more a cell phone can do these days than just call. So when it comes to buying a phone you can shop on more than just that now a days.

The most important thing to me is text messaging, for other people it may be calling. Because of this i like qwerty keyboard phone as opposed to a regular phone numbered phone, however most phones have both. its all about prefrence!

Check online reviews always before buying a phone! So many phones can be unreliable and complete pieces of junk while others may be better quality. Dont believe every single one but check what it is overall, and how most people feel about it. what type of errors its usually has so you can be prepared for that. Knowing as much about the phone also helps you use it!

If you dont know how to use something on your phone, read the manual they give you or check online about it and often you will learn things you did not know before. Explore around the phone itself! try to use all different parts of it and it will become much easier to manage all those different things. That way you can be sure to get your moneys worth, if thats what your after.

Many cellphone plans allow you to purchase a new phone after a year at the "2 year contract purchasse" price, so if you can save a little money and keep yourself updated with a new phone every year the problems you run into can be subverted by buying a new phone. My phone actually broke about a week before mine was at the 1 year mark and somehow, i bet they rigged it like that on purpose.

All in all get information about your future phone so you know what type of beast to wrangle, happy hunting!

I believe sometime in the future there will be a portable if not hand held device that manages and covers all of our electronic device needs, from business, personal, social, gaming, and much more. As of now this device has not been created but there are people working on it right now im sure. Regardless of your opinion on the iPad as far as its practical use, you have to admit that it is a pretty cool idea. That is origionally what got me hooked into the iPad, although i do not own one i think its radically futuristic and i am waiting for the next generations to see what they are capable of. The iPhone was amazing at its time of release, no phone had apps and if you wanted music you owned an iPod and had a cell phone for phone purposes.

I am hoping that in the future apple puts a more computer like operating system, or at least a bigger range of options like a desktop PC. I am awaiting the future releases and updates along this line of products.

As always lets hear your opinions, does the iPad serve a purpose in every day life? or does it get buried beneath magazines and books on your coffee table?dopdavidhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03573662553825640196noreply@blogger.com13tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5187109472415784266.post-35896964805371715122010-10-19T15:07:00.000-07:002010-10-19T15:07:57.288-07:00Help warrantys work for you

We have all bought products and received a warranty with them. But most of the time those papers are tossed in the trash with the box and everything else after the important contents are extracted.

Warrantys are more important than you think!: Many manufactures have warranty/guarantees on their products that last for a few years and some even have a lifetime offer that you can take advantage of when that product breaks. It doesn't take much of your time and it can save you lots of money.

Save all product warrantys in a file, folder, box or something else like that. Keep track of what they give you so that when it breaks you can hopefully get it replaced.

If you have lost your warranty papers check online, almost everything is online on a cloud somewhere now adays. Also check for user reviews of how their experience through the warranty process went with each individual company. There may be tips or key information that will help you ensure your claim is approved and handled, hopefully for free! dopdavidhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03573662553825640196noreply@blogger.com19tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5187109472415784266.post-7830388451363767302010-10-17T14:54:00.000-07:002010-10-17T14:54:50.625-07:00A Fiscal Hint About Blogging

I started blogging around a month ago and i started off a total noob, but now im starting to get my foot in the door. Im sure there is still much more i need to learn but what i have learned so far i will share and hopefully other people can input so that we can all grow.

Through using google's adsense (monetize tab) you can accrue funds for page impressions and people clicking ads. But as a first time user it can be hard to understand exactly what is going on here.

If you are serious about blogging, there is one thing you need, and once you get it the rest will follow.

TRAFFIC - and lots of it

Traffic is what will allow your blog to make money by ads being clicked on, the more traffic you have the more potential there is for income. The more possibilities of ads being clicked on, more people reading your posts, following your posts, quoting your posts, linking your posts. You get what im saying.

For more information google will get you everything you need, or you can wait around for another post. as always thanks for reading
Police Officers are trained interigators, they will use the law to its full power and use the law to its fullest extent. So as a citizen it is your obligation to use the law to its full power and use it to the fullest extent. Below i will tell you how to respond to police officers, how to operate so that your experience with the officer is as easy, "well-manered" and professional as possible so that you do not get tied down with tickets or even worse, a lawsuit.

Let's start with first things first:

1. Do not make an admission of guilt, even if you are guilty! - If you do not want to answer a question that an officer asks simply state, "it is not in my best interest to answer that question at this time." (ALSO signing a ticket is NOT admitting guilt, it is just agreeing that the officer is giving you a ticket and you can take it to court later if you really want to fight it, all that refusing to sign will do is land you in jail.)

2. The Officers #1 concern during a stop is safety, is this guy that i pulled over going to try and kill me? It takes the officer off the edge of his seat if you keep your hands on the wheel at all times. If your car has a dome light turn it on. If you have to reach for ANYTHING, even ID, Insuranc e or whatever, let the officer know where you will be reaching and what for.

3. Police searches happen because people let them or the officer finds "probabal cause" to search. A good thing to do even if an officer finds probabal cause, is to say that you do not consent to a search. Just let it be stated loud and clear for the record so that the officer hears it, his partner hears it and you hear it. In court this could help you!

4. Follow any instructions he gives you, if you are nice, helpful, and are well aware of your rights and the law there will be almost no space for abuse, or anything to allow this encounter to escalate into something serious.

If you are being detained/arrested:

5. each officer should have a reason for why he stopped you. But if you are in a hurry and its taking forever; with respect to how the whole situtation is playing out you be the judge and decide if its a good time to ask if you are free to go. If the answer is no, ask if you are being detained. If you are you will probably know it so you shouldnt have to worry about that to much.

6. They should read you your rights, and once they do you can simply say, "i want to speak with my lawyer" to any questioning. Never speak to the police without a lawyer present, and once you get a lawyer he will tell you not to speak to the police. It is there job to prove you are guilty not yours.

7. If you are arrested they do get to search in your butt

If you want more information check out this PDF and use the internet! Or even better talk to a lawyer. There is no one better than an educated professional. Thanks for reading!dopdavidhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03573662553825640196noreply@blogger.com8tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5187109472415784266.post-14154647161309979882010-10-14T12:39:00.000-07:002010-10-14T12:49:31.781-07:00What your firefox may be missing!

Im going to guess that you use firefox if you are reading this so we can jump right into the subject, addons. Addons allow customization of firefox outside of what the firefox inc can make. And because it is made this way, it allows for rapid adaptability and customization thanks to everyone who uses firefox. There are so many out there but im only going to talk about my favorite three:

3. Fast Dial - Fast Dial is a good tool to have a few quick bookmarks up at your home screen or if you have lots of destinations it works for both, you can change how many links are on your home as well as background image, colors, positioning, and many other things. Very customizable and even lets you create folders for additional space. You can choose what picture to use as the "logo" (image that appears in the box). Its helpful, pretty straight forward and open to customization.

2. Adblock Plus - Adblock Plus is a must have for anyone who is tired of seeing advertisments, hearing sound playing from them or whatever else they've mutated into these days! With a swift right click you can choose to add it to your block list. at which point you can choose which part of the url you want. So if you want to block adds from the entire site, not just the specific ad you can do it. Blocking many ads will rapidly increase your speed while loading that website, and you dont get annoyed.

1. Greasemonkey - Greasemonkey is an addon that allows for use of user developed javascript; Its got its own little addons if you will. So thanks to the community and users again there is so much you can do with this addon its great. http://userscripts.org/ is like mozillas addons directory but for greasemonkey scrips. Scripts to change the what your facebook wall displays, Or you can remove ads from sites like youtube and last.fm. the possibilities are endless because its open to the community.

Im sure there are lots of addons out there but the more you have the slower your firefox can be, you need to be careful not to bog down your browser by giving it so much work to do. if you have an addon frenzy it can do more harm than hinder. So choose your addons lightly if you want to surf quicker :) or check out other tips for optimizing firefox speed. i will do a post later on about computer optimization, so stay tuned and thanks for reading!

I would like you know what addons you guys use and how they benefit you, feel free to comment below or send me a message, feedback is always welcomed.dopdavidhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/03573662553825640196noreply@blogger.com24
